Fruit Lax


There are so many little things that Robin and I keep in the girls diet to help with constipation.  This is one of those wonderful recipes that Robin found and now the whole family eats it.  We use it in place of jelly.  We use it to sweeten thermo-cereal http://www.3of21.com/2013/03/emma-important-diet-item-2.html and oatmeal, we put it on crackers, peanut butter sandwiches and numerous other goodies.  EXTREMELY easy and so delicious.  Now I use to actually measure this out but not anymore.  I start with a large container of raisins, dates and prunes.  Dump all three into a large bowl and cover with a lid.





Next cover with equal amounts of orange juice and prune juice.



DONE for now!

Let mixure sit overnight.  The following day scoop mixture into food processor and mix.  Add a little liquid to get to the desired consistency.  I usually freeze half.
